This marathon will be held in 22nd of October 2010 in view of the favorable climate conditions during the fall season and the scheduled calendar of other international marathons. AIM is accredited by IAAF (International Athletics Federation) as an international event with the following categories:

The 42.195 Km. Marathon starts from the Headquarters of Greater Amman Municipality (GAM) at Ali Bin Abi Taleb Street and the finishing line will be in GAM at Omar Matar Street.

The 10 km. Fun Run starts front of the Royal Culture Center on Queen Rania St. heading to Jamal Abdul Nasser Circle (Al Dakhiliyeh) and the finishing line will be in GAM at Omar Matar Street.

The 4 km. Kids Fun Run starts from Abdullah Al Salem Al Sabah Circle (Al Qeissiyeh) and the finishing line will be in GAM at Omar Matar Street.
