Omar Al Shahabi-
(1983) Born and raised in Baghdad, Iraq; gained a B.A from the Academy of Fine Arts and a diploma from the institute of Fine Arts in Baghdad. A member of the Iraqi fine artists organization and the Iraqi Artists syndicate. Participated in numerous collective exhibitions in the Academy of Fine Arts, an exhibition against aggression towards women in Baghdad and "Colors from Iraq" exhibition which was held in Damascus to name a few. Omar designed many book covers and contributed in many local and Arab magazines and newspapers. Awarded Arab and International awards and recognition; his art is collected in Iraq, Syria, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Tunisia, Bahrain and UAE "large murals in Dubai International Airport" in addition to his work in Fourseasons Hotel in Damascus and personal collections in Sweden and France. Omar Al Shahabi is currently working as a full-time artist in Doha Qatar.
