An exhibition of photo-based works by EMAN HARAM continues at Nabad through 8 May 2013
Eman Haram’s work is an ongoing exploration of the conditions of lives spread across multiple social, cultural, linguistic and geopolitical landscapes.

The existential disorientation resulting from perpetual displacement, loss of community, personal and collective past, and the precarious attempts to pull these many chimeric worlds into a cohesive whole, evokes a sense of deep melancholy, which is inexplicably mitigated by a sense of bliss from the lightness of being an outsider to every place.
